Cutie Patootie - 2 Month Photo

I like this page. It came together very quickly since the papers had matching stickers. That makes it so much easier! I did cut the stems/leaves out of patterned green paper with my wavy scissors.

The Fairest One of All

This is Cailey's 1st Halloween outfit. October 2004. I don't like this page at all and it looks even worse scanned. But maybe it will grow on me. I would leave and go back to this page multiple times and just finally put something together. Atleast it's finished!

Olan Mills Christmas 2005 Photos

Here's another layout of Christmas '05 pictures. These were taken at Olan Mills (The other's were done at Sears). I'm not too sure of what I think of these pages. I sortof just quickly did them. However I am glad that I used some patterned background paper that I've had for many, many years!! On the bottom of the first page, the glass tile cannot be read in the picture. It says First Christmas. The side edges, behind the holly, it's actually a metallic gold. Looks sortof weird on here. Sorry!!

Cailey - 1 month old - Bow Picture

This is the First page of Cailey's Album of Proffessional Photos. It was nice to get it done. I knew what I wanted to do with this page, keep it simple and let the photo and the poem (written by Richard) speak for itself. Some people might remember this poem. Richard wrote, designed, and framed it and gave it to me at the baby shower.

You can read the poem in the actual framed picture. But here it is too:
For Cailey
By Daddy
God is a painter, painting dreams come true
He painted Mommy and Daddy and the Kitty Cats, too.
But He looked at His painting and said, "It's not through!"
"I need to add something..."God said, "Something new!"
"Aha!" He said, "I know jus twhat to do!"
So He picked up His brush - and painted us -
With you!

Out to the side of the poem it just says:

Bright Eyes - Easter 2005

I really like how these pages turned out. These are probably my favorite pages so far. I got to use my sewing machine, plus added ribbon of course and buttons, and there's even a safety pin on the right page. My scan cut off some of the top. Since you can't read the journaling on the right page, here it is
"I adore these pictures of you, Cailey. This was when you were first beginning to stand. Seeing your little pudgy legs and the little pink bloomers peakin gout from beneath your Easter dress was so cute!"..."Easter - March 2005"
